I complete this painting in 2016 (or so I thought), but the foreground kept bothering me.

I decided it needed more work. Much better now.

Completed and framed, this painting is now showing in a new model home in Carefree, Arizona!

Thanks to the photographic work of Edward S. Curtis at the turn of the twentieth century, Curtis' photo showing the Navajo crossing through Canyon de Chelly became a wonderful resource for completing this painting commissioned by the interior designer, Aldrete Design.
